Company History

Founded in 2016 to fill a gap in rural funding.

Ducote Consulting was founded in 2016 by Nicholas Ducote. After working as a technical writer and funding specialist for an engineering firm in La Grande, he noticed a gap in regional grant writing and project development services.

Since its inception, the company has grown steadily, writing over $50 million in successful grant applications for clients throughout the state of Oregon. We have a close-knit staff of four, each with unique backgrounds and skill sets that bring complementary strengths to the table.

Our focus on integrity and our eye for detail enable us to complete complex administrative tasks with speed and precision.

Our Process

Every project is unique. The plan fits the project.

Because each project is unique, we work with clients to establish a plan of action, meeting at the outset (and throughout the project) to understand all needs and goals.

We work both on a project-by-project basis, and also with On-Call/General contracts. The particular suite of services offered to each client is tailored to increase their capacity and grant competitiveness, while respecting the often limited budgets of our rural clients.
